Girls Only Taster Sessions

Our #OneCollinghamTeam is continuing to grow and starting Saturday 24th June, Collingham Juniors FC will be running girls only taster sessions at our Collingham and Linton Sports Association home.

The sessions are open to all girls aged 5 – 11 and will be hosted by FA Qualified (Inc DBS and safeguarding) coaches, with each session focussing on match play, basic skills, fitness and more importantly fun, friendship and teamwork.

Collingham Juniors currently has mixed age group teams from U5’s through to U18’s, and there is an opportunity through these sessions to sign up into these teams, as well as be part of our amazing plans to create girls only teams to compete in local girls’ league across Harrogate and West Riding.

Location:

Collingham and Linton Sports Association, Harewood Road, Collingham, LS22 5BL.

Football pitch area, at the far side of the cricket pitch.

When:

Saturday’s 09:30-10:30 from Saturday 24th June and weekly thereafter up to the end of July. Plans being looked at to continue into August.

Huge congratulations to our amazing Under 13’s Racing team, who on Saturday 10th June won the Wetherby Junior football tournament!

The team has a fantastic morning, playing great football and we would like to thank Wetherby Athletic for hosting the event.

We are holding free Training Sessions for potential new players at the end May and early June. Local venue TBC however please e-mail cjfccoach@yahoo.com for more information.

Games will be played in the Harrogate A league on Sundays from September.
